"We had no idea where to begin after my father passed. The First Steps Guide gave us something concrete to hold — a real sense of what the process typically involves and where to look for official information. It didn't make decisions for us, which was exactly what we needed at that point."

"The coaching sessions helped us sort through twenty years of family paperwork in a way that felt manageable. The indexing system they helped us build is something we still refer to. My only note is that the initial scheduling took a little time, but once sessions started the pace was good."

"My mother was very particular about preserving what she called 'the family's story in writing'. The Legacy Documentation service was a real fit for that. Nattaya was patient, asked thoughtful questions, and produced something our whole extended family can access. We were genuinely glad we did it."

"As an expat family in Bangkok navigating Thai inheritance processes from the outside, the First Steps Guide was clear and grounding. The English is careful and the content doesn't overreach — it points you to official sources rather than pretending to be one. That distinction mattered to us."

"We used the coaching sessions mainly to untangle records accumulated over two generations. There was a lot, and some of it was confusing even to us. The team helped us understand what we had without judging the state of it, which I appreciated. The checklist they produced is still on the family's shared drive."

"I didn't think we were the type of family who would do something like legacy documentation. But my father had kept letters and notes going back decades, and I was worried they'd just sit unread. The archive Willspring helped us build is something I now know will survive us. That is no small thing."

Case Studies
Detailed family journeys
Case Study 01 — First Steps Guide
A family who needed to understand before they could act
The situation
An adult daughter living in Bangkok was trying to support her mother in Chiang Mai from a distance following her father's death. Neither had any clear picture of what typically happened next, and online information was either too technical or too general to be useful.
What Willspring provided
The First Steps Information Guide was ordered, reviewed in a short call, and delivered in both printed and digital format. The daughter could read it alongside her mother during video calls, working through each section at their own pace.
What changed
Within two weeks the family had a shared sense of what the general process involved and which official offices held the relevant information. They were able to engage a local professional from a position of basic understanding rather than complete uncertainty.
"It sounds simple, but having something written down — something that explained the stages in plain language — made it possible to start talking as a family again." — The daughter, Bangkok
Case Study 02 — Coaching Sessions
A retired couple putting decades of records in order
The situation
A retired couple in their early seventies had accumulated records across two family businesses and three decades of property ownership. Their children, based overseas, had no idea what existed or where to find anything. The couple wanted to change that before it became urgent.
What Willspring provided
Three coaching sessions spread over five weeks. The first assessed what existed. The second worked through sorting into categories. The third built an indexed folder system and produced a checklist their children could cross-reference from abroad.
What changed
The couple's children now hold a digital copy of the index and checklist. The physical folder system sits in their home and is described by the family as "the first time anyone has understood what we actually have". Three months on, the system is still in use.
"We'd been meaning to sort things out for years. Having someone guide us through it session by session made it actually happen." — The husband, Bangkok
